Control PanelDescription The Control Panel is supposed to be Windows command central for changing your computer's settings. It allows you to view and manipulate basic system settings and controls, such as adding hardware, adding/removing software, controlling user accounts, changing accessibility options, etc. Each item of the control panel is associated with a corresponding entry in the Registry that defines the location of a program, which is responsible for this item. Cause Different devices (graphics and sound cards, printers, etc) as well as some application programs can create additional control panel items. Every change made in the Control Panel is written back to the registry. Incorrect uninstalling or modification of some of these programs can provide significant problems with the registry.
